El tema prepara el escenario para su esperado nuevo álbum, 'Queen of Me', que llegará el 3 de febrero de este 2023. Se trata de su sexto álbum original, el primero desde 2017, y su debut oficial con su nuevo sello Republic.
'Giddy Up!', antes que el álbum
Shania comenta nos ha contado que "'Let's Go Girls!' es un sentimiento tan maravillosamente edificante ahora, pero es solo algo que dije durante la grabación en el estudio y supongo que es lo mismo para Giddy Up! Estas líneas vienen a mí cuando pienso en cómo poner un poco de ánimo. Quiero que la gente se sienta bien cuando escuche el nuevo álbum. Quiero establecer un tono de celebración y "Giddy Up!" es una forma de llamar al público y decir '¡preparémonos para divertirnos!'".
'Queen of Me' trendrá 12 temas nuevos. Desde el enérgico comienzo con 'Giddy Up!', pasando por la poderosa canción que da título al discoy el apasionado final 'The Hardest Stone', producido por Tyler Joseph/Twenty One Pilots y con su colaboración, el álbum representa una declaración creativa profunda y dinámica de esta voz icónica. Preparó el escenario para todo con el single 'Waking Up Dreaming' en donde daba ya rienda suelta a la energía.

También llega tras el exitoso documental sobre su carrera "Not Just A Girl", que ya se puede ver en Netflix, producido por Mercury Studios y dirigido por Joss Crowley.
