"Perfect Way To Die", para oír en pie mientras Alicia Keys hinca la rodilla en tierra

Hoy nos detenemos en uno de los últimos lanzamientos de la artista norteamericana que estará incluido en el próximo álbum titulado "ALICIA".

Es una canción que, muy recientemente, ha incorporado el vídeo oficial a través de una interpretación rodada en escenarios urbanos y jugando con la oscuridad de la noche y el 'negro' como color predominante.

En "Perfect Way To Die" son todos mensajes que claman porque los problemas raciales encuentren una solución ante la que hay que seguir luchando. Así, rememorando la imagen de Colin Kaepernick al arrodillarse en un partido de la NFL de EEUU Alicia hinca rodilla al final del clip.

Keys comienza con el piano y apenas un susurro para ir relatando. A partir de ahí, juega con su voz y su interpretación. La primera vez que vimos el vídeo llamaba la atención cómo no renunciaba a mostrar, ondeando, la bandera de EEUU. Pero la escenografía suma imágenes de las víctimas por las que canta. Una vez más con la voz, premeditadamente irrompible, derrite sentimientos que ornamenta visualmente con múltiples pianos, negros también, sin nadie que los toque como esperando a esos intérpretes ausentes.

El final, es elocuente y visual. La rodilla de Alicia Keys se posa sobre el asfalto y está cerca, muy cerca del nombre de Jack Lamar Roberson Jr. asesinado a tiros en su casa por la policía como informaba la prensa local en su día.
